MAIN PROBLEMS IN TEACHING LINGUISTIC TERMS

It is known that in linguistics both words and compound words are considered equal linguistic units, and they are used as ready-made lexical material in speech. But not in the case of expressions. Their formation in speech occurs according to certain norms. The components of word combinations are grammatically interconnected. This is a syntactic process, an event. Terms are lexical material, they primarily perform a nominative function. This article discusses main problems of teaching and the usage of terms.
