EXPLORING THE ROLE AND FUNCTION OF PHRASAL VERBS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE ACQUISITION: A COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS

Аннотация

In the study, we will investigate how the nuances and diverse meanings of phrasal verbs can pose challenges to learners in comprehending and using them effectively. The complex relationship between the verb and particle in phrasal verbs can lead to ambiguity and difficulty in interpreting their intended meanings. For instance, the same phrasal verb can have multiple meanings, depending on the context in which it is used, making it challenging for learners to grasp the correct interpretation.
