The field of phraseology, which is one of the most vital branches of modern linguistics today and continues to attract the interest of many linguists, and as well is constantly evolving. Naturally, the success of research in this field depends not only on a good knowledge of foreign languages, but also on translation, translation theory, and at the same time the problems that have been solved and unresolved. This article deals with the translation interpretation of French phraseological units involving "Les pieds".
