ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING HISTORICAL MATERIAL IN TEACHING COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE

The aim of this scientific article is to analyze the effectiveness of using historical material in teaching communicative competence. In the context of modern education, more attention is paid to the development of students' communicative skills, based on the understanding that successful communication is a key element in the modern world. The use of historical material can be a useful tool for developing communicative skills as it allows students to analyze and interpret past events, express their thoughts and opinions, and interact with other people.
During the study, a literature review was conducted to determine how historical material can be used in teaching communicative competence. Various methods and approaches were examined, including the use of historical texts, role-playing games, discussions, and project work. The results of the analysis showed that the use of historical material in teaching communicative competence can significantly enhance the effectiveness of the learning process.
Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that the integration of historical material into the educational process contributes to the development of students' communicative skills. Further research perspectives include the development and testing of new methodologies, as well as conducting experiments to assess the effectiveness of using historical material in teaching communicative competence.
