EFFECT OF DIEXIS IN TRANSLATION.

The study of linguistics concerning the human dimension and advancements in the natural sciences, with a small detour from formal linguistics, is one of the growth perspectives in linguistics. Natural-science writings guarantee the identity of the person, place, and time as well as the integrity of deictic units. They have a communication function as well. The essay looks into texts from the field of natural science that discuss using deictic instruments as a form of communication and the practical aspects of deixis. Each case has been selected from natural-science literature in either English or Uzbek and then examined. Examples illustrate the use of deixis in scientific writing.
