Abstract

The use of graphical explication to teach vocabulary to intermediate learners is covered in this article. The author makes the case that visual aids can improve language learning by giving new words a context and enhancing memory. The article explains how to create and use visual elucidations, including how to pick the right pictures and work them into lesson plans. The author also offers instances of this approach being used successfully in the classroom. Overall, this article provides helpful advice for language instructors who want to increase their students' vocabulary learning using creative and interesting methods.
