Abstract

In this article, the author has studied the process of formation of the institute of personal data protection in cyberspace and its expansion from the national level to the international one. The author also highlights the gradual, chronological formation of the international legal framework in this area. Likewise, the author attempts to periodize the stages of development and formation of the international institute for the protection of personal data, which the world knows today.
