CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES OF EUPHEMISTIC PERIPHRASES

The article deals with the problem of reflection and realization of periphrases in euphemistic function. The study is based on their analysis of contemporary literary texts. The article focuses on the means of periphrastic softening of the characteristics of objects, persons, and phenomena in terms of their euphemistic function.
