Abstract

. In this article, the life and work of Gafur Ghulam, as well as the story "Shum bola", which is one of his most famous works, its content and its role in Uzbek literature are discussed. In addition, this article includes facts about the story "Shum bola", which is one of the well-known short stories among Uzbek people and it is significance in terms of presentation of our nationality.
