THE ARTISTIC FUNCTION OF CONFLICT IN “1984”BY GEORGE ORWELL

This article provides information about the artistic function of conflict in George Orwell's "1984". Orwell called this novel "The Last man in Europe". But Frederick Warburg insisted on changing the name of the work before publishing it. It is not known until the end why the events in the work take place in 1984.
