This article describes some methodological issues of forming the information culture of primary school teachers. Current problems in the field of information culture during today's globalization, in particular, the danger of a spiritual crisis, which is increasingly taking root in some regions of the world, protecting students from the threat of information, among them are the issues of developing reading culture and organizing the lesson process using new information and communication technologies in the educational system. foreign experiences are described in detail.
