DETERMINATION OF THE RELIABILITY OF OPTICAL CABLES
Abstract
In communication systems, control and monitoring of objects with increased safety requirements, which include, first of all, systems of aircraft, ships, spacecraft, metro, the reliable operation of each element depends on the lives of many people and the safety of expensive equipment. Therefore, it is very important to ensure that the reliability requirements of all elements are met already at the development stage, which will make it possible in the future to maintain within the established limits the values of the parameters characterizing the ability to perform the required functions in the specified modes and conditions of use for a specified period of time. Lifetime predictability is a necessary guarantee of quality in the creation of any product.
