MAGNETIC RESONANCE TOMOGRAPHY— HISTORY, HOW IT IS CARRIED OUT, CONTRAINDICATIONS
Abstract
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRT) is a method of obtaining tomographic medical images for studying internal organs and tissues using nuclear magnetic resonance phenomena. The method is based on measuring the electromagnetic response of atomic nuclei, usually the response of hydrogen atom nuclei. That is, the excitation of nuclei due to the effect of certain electromagnetic waves in a high voltage constant magnetic field is recorded.
