Abstract

This article explores the significance of sound and music in stylistic expression within literature, specifically focusing on the concept of phonosemantics. It examines how authors employ various techniques, such as sound symbolism, rhythm, meter, alliteration, assonance, sound effects, and musical references, to enhance the reader's experience and deepen the meaning of their works. The article highlights the ways in which sound patterns and musical elements in literature evoke emotions, create imagery, and contribute to the overall aesthetic quality of the text. By exploring the impact of phonosemantics in literature, readers gain a greater understanding of how sound enhances storytelling and adds layers of meaning to literary works.
