This paper explores the importance of a knowledge base in the development of an intelligent software package for underground waterworks. In the development of the computerized knowledge base of the GA, the work of knowledge base management, classification of knowledge bases, creation of expert systems and the use of simple knowledge bases for storing information about the organization were studied. The structure of the knowledge base was developed in the creation of an intelligent software package of the GA.
