Abstract

The libraries play a vital role in providing information services in various forms to information seekers. Information technology is indispensable for human  development. A well-organized library should have information technology to help information professionals. This paper described the prospects and challenges recent development of the application of information technology in libraries and training opportunities should be made available for library professionals.
